The Atlantis Explorer Unit meets on Monday evenings at 24th Hastings Hall, and is open to young people aged between 14 and 17. We welcome new members from Scout Troops as well as people with no previous scouting experience.
The Unit, which is partnered with 24th Hastings, forms part of the Explorer provision of Hastings, Rye and District Scouts. There are three other Units – Phoenix, Hydra and Rye. All meetings of the Units are open to all Explorers in the District, and you can find their programmes and details of where they meet on their website.
Explorer training is closely linked to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
Young Leaders are also Explorers, and most of them belong to one of the Units. They undergo leadership training, and help with running beavers, cubs and scouts across the District.
